GAT Showcase Bogota reports “excellent results” and paves the way for novelties in 2024

The third edition of GAT Showcase Bogotá took place on September 8, with a “successful balance” according to its organizers. After the event in the Colombian capital, the organizers detailed news about the contents of GAT Expo Cartagena, to be held next year, from April 9 to 11.

According to the event’s organization, the exhibitors reported “excellent results in sales of their equipment, products, and services to the operators of Colombia” who, from all the regions of the country, came to Bogota with their commercial executives to evaluate the offer and make the last decisions on the acquisition of machines, both roulette and slot machines, according to the changes and technological improvements demanded by the market for 2024.

In terms of land-based casinos, the positive indicators came from Novomatic, Interblock, IGT, Win Systems, EGT, Merkur, BYA Group, Spintec, Inspired, Automated Transactions, Mer Design, Luxur Games, RPCol and Luxur Games, according to the organizers. They also pointed out that during the exhibition Mobadoo’s stand, a specialist in eSports betting, aroused great interest with the demonstration of one of its most successful games: Commandos and Mercenaries.

GAT Showcase Bogotá shows a record of attending businessmen from 17 countries: Canada, United States, Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Peru, Venezuela, Paraguay, Uruguay, Honduras, Panama, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Spain, Italy, San Cristobal, Slovenia and 1,300 registrations of national operators.

The organizing team highlighted the satisfaction of the sponsors who once again opted for this showroom format with physical advertising in the Sheraton Bogotá Hotel and an extensive display of their brands in press releases, email marketing, and GAT social networks that show highly significant growth in number of followers, month by month. The sponsoring companies of this showcase were: Pragmatic Play, BetConstruct, BetPlay, Amusnet, Nuvei, Altenar, Evolution, Gem Solutions, and Win Systems.

After the exhibition, an exclusive reception was held in another area of the venue, which was attended by important personalities from the industry, who received recognition from the CEO of the GAT organization, given their invaluable support in the execution of these fairs and events since 1999.

GAT 25 years 

In developing new marketing strategies for the growth of their shows, outstanding entertainment talents in Colombia were summoned for the first time, including actors, actresses, influencers, and journalists from the main radio and television channels. The celebrities attended the event punctually, in a stage prepared with a setup distributed in areas for holding an eSports tournament with real gamers, a poker game between celebrities, and the simulation of an F1 car race.

“It was about starting the celebration of the 25 years of the Gaming & Technology Expo, which we will commemorate in a big way on April 9, 10, and 11 of next year at the Cartagena Las Américas Convention Center. At GAT Expo Cartagena next year, in addition to a technological display in the exhibition of land-based equipment and online platforms, cutting-edge topics that revolutionize the gaming industry in the world will be highlighted. Therefore, within the framework of this large-format fair, GAT eSports will be the protagonist in the holding of tournaments and an academic meeting specialized in electronic sports. Likewise, artificial intelligence (AI) related to the entertainment industry will also be a central topic discussed by experts, the organizing team detailed.

Furthermore, the organizing company noted that GAT’s strategic ally, Nueve Producciones, its team, and the journalist and presenter Gladys Buitrago, completed a marathon day of recordings and presentations in real-time with some of the protagonists of this commercial showcase, turning social networks into an amplifier of what is lived at GAT Showcase Bogotá.

The unprecedented surprises of GAT 2024

José Aníbal Aguirre shared that he and his marketing team will participate in person at SBC Barcelona that will take place next week, an event during which they will promote attendance and participation in the GAT 2024 events, continuing with sales and hiring of exhibitors for the Cartagena fair in April, which already has a very important list of confirmations secured, in terms of stand reservations and sponsorship quotas.

Likewise, it is announced that GAT Caribe, an event that has been taking place in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, travels from the Antilles to the port of Cancún in Mexico where the Cancún Center fairground has been chosen for the fourth edition of GAT Caribe, on November 27 and 28 of next year. The idea is to rotate the exhibition and its complementary components annually through various countries and locations in the Caribbean. The organization will seek to incorporate innovation, digitalization, artificial intelligence, and the most relevant advances in the industry with a ‘turnkey’ stand model to offer games of skill, eSports, metaverse, and online gaming platforms and equipment for physical casinos.

In relation to the event that has been held annually in Punta Cana, it will continue to be carried out with the GAT Showcase structure on June 28 and 29, 2024.
