IGT PlayDigital’s online gaming content goes live in Rhode Island on Bally’s app and website

International Game Technology (IGT) announced Thursday that its IGT PlayDigital iGaming content library is now available in Rhode Island via the Bally Casino Rhode Island app and on BallyCasino.com. “This milestone content deployment makes IGT PlayDigital one of only two suppliers to offer content in all seven U.S. online gaming jurisdictions,” the company said.

Craig Eaton, Bally’s Rhode Island Operations President, said: “Bally Casino is pleased to make IGT PlayDigital’s legendary game portfolio available to our players from the first day of online gaming in Rhode Island.”

We’ve created a top-tier player experience at Bally Casino that gives players the convenient opportunity to experience many of their favorite IGT slots such as Cleopatra, Cats, and Wolf Run at any time and from any location inside Rhode Island,” he added.

For his part, Gil Rotem, IGT President of iGaming, commented: “IGT PlayDigital is thrilled to extend the reach of our market-leading games and promotional tools portfolio to players in Rhode Island via our strategic partnership with Bally’s Corporation.”

“As a long-time lottery and gaming supplier in Rhode Island, IGT is deeply committed to propelling the success of iGaming in the State and delivering highly entertaining games such as Cash Eruption and Fortune Coin that are proven to drive player engagement,” he concluded.

Earlier this week, IGT announced it has marginally improved its revenue to $4.31 billion for the twelve months ending on December 31, 2023, up 2% from the previous year’s figure of $4.22 billion. The net profit for the year stood at $156 million, reflecting a decrease of 43.3% from $275 million in 2022, while total adjusted EBITDA surged to an all-time high of $1.78 billion, marking a 6.9% increase from the previous year.

This growth was primarily driven by the performance of its Global Gaming and PlayDigital segments. Meanwhile, Global Lottery revenue experienced a decline. However, during the final quarter of 2023, there were slight improvements in Global Lottery revenue, alongside growth in other segments, contributing to a strong finish for the year.
