Zitro: “G2E serves as a stage to demonstrate our investment in research and development”

With only just a few days separating us from a new edition of G2E Las Vegas, to be held October 9 – 12 at The Venetian Expo, Yogonet caught up with Derik Mooberry, CEO at Zitro USA, to discuss the company’s participation at the major expo, what is new in the supplier’s portfolio of solutions, and plans for the rest of the year and the beginning of 2024.

Why is this event important for the company and what opportunities could it open up for you? What do you expect in terms of networking opportunities? 

G2E is one of the most highly attended gaming shows in the world. It draws key decision-makers from all the key markets to the gaming capital of the world. G2E serves as a stage for Zitro to showcase its latest product offering and demonstrate to customers our continued investment in research and development.  

What news will Zitro share with those who come to your stand? How did you prepare for the event? 

Attendees will immediately see our focus on building world-class gaming content that is designed for diverse players and casinos. We will have over 50 machines in our booth as well as an area to highlight our growing presence in the digital gaming market.  We are particularly excited about some of our marquee games which include Fu Frog, and Fu Pots, Billy the Pig, 88 Link Shiro and Lún Pán Du.

Some of these themes have already been released in the international markets and are seeing tremendous success. We expect to see that same level of success in the United States as we deploy these products later this year.

How do you evaluate your participation at G2E in previous years? 

Every year we continue to invest more time into research and development. Customers who have visited our booth each year will notice continued investment into world-class gaming products that will help casino operators provide unparalleled entertainment and diversity on their casino floor. 

We have recently opened a new technology campus in India, which will enable us to keep growing and addressing both our current markets and any demand that may arise in the U.S., as well as in other jurisdictions.

Could you anticipate what are Zitro’s objectives at the end of 2023 and for next year?  

Zitro continues to grow as a global provider of industry-leading gaming content. In the United States, we continue to see tremendous growth as we are now operating in 11 States which has more than tripled from the beginning of the year. We expect to see continued growth in new gaming markets as we obtain the necessary gaming licenses.

Finally, will you be participating in any other industry event in the near future? 

In the last quarter of the year, Zitro is set to attend SiGMA Europe in Malta, and we’ll wrap up the year with our participation at BEGE Expo in Bulgaria. Looking ahead, we’re already in the early stages of preparations for next year’s events, with our sights set on ICE London in early 2024.
